Our Teen Board Members are busy
getting ready for their first
Day of Hope!
They will be reaching out to their friends and family,
whether by texting, emailing or calling
and asking for a donation!
Fun activities will also be happening at Headquarters during
the afternoon, as another way to raise money.
Each donation will be marked by the release of a pink balloon
(inside HQ) – the goal by the end of the day, is to only see
pink when looking up!
TEEN BOARD APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!
It’s that time of year already! As we prepare to say goodbye to nine seniors, we are excited to begin the search for high school students who are interested in joining the remaining twelve board members
for 2023-2024!
We are looking for creative and motivated high school students
in grades 9-11.
Applications opened on February 1st and will close on February 28th.
We will schedule interviews in March, with the goal of the 2023-2024 board being announced in April!
A word from our Teen Board President!
Hi there! My name is Ella Self, and I am beyond proud to be the 2022-2023 Teen Board President. I am currently a senior at North Central High School, and will be attending Indiana University in the fall!!
I joined the board with a goal to bring impact to the funding of pediatric cancer research, even if small. Being in my second year on the board, I have been able to achieve unimaginable fundraising goals as well as gaining priceless experiences and life skills along the way.
It is so very empowering to work together as a team of high schoolers and achieve something so important to our world. I appreciate every ounce of support from donors and endowment leadership,
from the bottom of my heart!
