Our 2024-2025 Teen Board's DAY OF HOPE was a huge success!
Since August of 2024, this group of teens have been meeting at the Headquarters monthly, working diligently within their committees of Philanthropy, Fundraising and Marketing.
They gathered at the headquarters on February 9th for the third annual Day of Hope. Through fun activities, calling and texting everyone they knew, this group raised
$45,892!
Add this to what they had already raised since starting their term in August,
their fundraising total is currently:
$85,150!
Our Endowment’s Teen Board has taken our mission of raising crucial funds to support cutting edge research by leading pediatric oncologists around the country as they create targeted drugs, less toxic therapies and brighter outcomes for
critically ill children, to new heights.
This year, after diligent research and interviews, they selected to give a one-time donation of $25,000 to both Children’s Oncology Group and Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, who are both gaining prominence with their efforts on pediatric cancer research. We are incredibly proud and excited that this group of young adults is now expanding our connections in the field of pediatric cancer research with organizations around the country and worldwide.
